The race track is a 3/8 mile "paper clip" shaped oval, with a clay surface and 21 degree banking.  It was constructed mainly by the donation of time and equipment from Silvertown Construction of Sylvania, SK.

Racing started the season of 2000.  July of 2001 saw the Sprint cars from Edmonton come to town to race, and in September of 2001 a provincial meet was held with cars coming from across Saskatchewan and few from Manitoba.

In 2006 the track, under new ownership and management, ran as Tisdale Motor Speedway.

Tisdale Motor Speedway is located 1/2 mile south of the museum along Highway #3 in the former Tisdale Fair grounds.  We offer a concession stand, covered beer gardens and flush toilets.  The wooden bleachers are divided into two sections, a non-alcohol side and the beer gardens side.  Located on both sides is a grassy area for you to use with your lawn chairs if you so desire.  There is ample free parking available and overnight camping (non-serviced) available.

The members of Tisdale Motor Speedway and the North East Stockcar Drivers Association would like to thank the fans and our sponsors for their support.  You allow us to keep bringing racing to the Tisdale area.
